Full Description:


Our Client in San Francisco is looking for a Director of Sales to own and drive sales for the their products and services for their growing company.

You will lead a dedicated group that is committed to offering our clients services that help afterschool programs, foundations and non-profit organizations understand the impact that they are making in their communities. You will develop strategic sales plans and targets that will meet the company objectives and inspire the territory managers to succeed.

Qualifications:
•At least 6 years of sales experience outperforming quota in a sales environment, preferably K12 or SaaS startup
•Solid understanding of running a SaaS sales model
•Prefer at least 3 years successfully running a sales organization (team)
•Previous experience working in sales at a successful startup in SaaS, EdTech or Business Intelligence company
•Proficiency in structuring and closing complex deals with multiple variables
•Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills (People like you, listen to you, and trust you!)
•You’ve got a bunch of energy, are comfortable on the phone, can self-manage your day, think on your feet, problem solve…you know, all the boxes checked on the sales person check list.
•Deep understanding of quota and compensation plans as it pertains to territory assignments.
•Strong team player and proven experience working across functional departments.
•Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
•Great communicator, self-aware, transparent, collaborative, and open to feedback.

Responsibilities:
•Refine the sales processes and structure for the opportunity pipeline
•Improve the pricing structure
•Collaborate with product and client success to help retain clients
•Lead the department with a strategic sales plan to cover each territory
•Develop and implement plans and forecasts for the sale
