Our major banking client in San Francisco, CA is looking for a talented UX Designer to contribute to the user experience strategy by for online products/properties.



  • You would be responsible for designing new and enhanced functionality for the online banking and public sites, with an emphasis on usability.

  • Collaborating with Designers, Content Strategists, Producers, and Researchers on multi-device experiences for online and mobile banking, financial education, product information, tools, and applications

  • Solve complex problems with simple, industry-leading user interface design solutions

  • Develop scenarios, navigational structures, sitemaps, user flows, screen designs, interaction models and functional templates, then assist the project team with the creation of visual design and content artifacts

  • Working on large projects as well as ongoing maintenance, both independently and as part of a team




  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in user experience design.

  • E-commerce experience working with external facing (consumer), heavily trafficked sites is mandatory.

  • BS, BFA or BA major in design, graphic design, art direction or industrial design.

  • Thorough knowledge of the web site design process: creative brief, user interface design, task modeling, wire frame and user flow diagramming, usability testing, etc. Be prepared to show interim deliverables, rather than final work, in the interview process.

  • Proven skills in information synthesis, conceptual modeling, task modeling, UI design principles, human factors, User Centered Design, interaction design, usability methodologies, industry standards and trends, platform standards, and software development process.

  • Strong understanding and experience with HTML and CSS required. Working knowledge of JavaScript, Flash ActionScript, or other conditional programming language a plus.

  • A proven track record of successful UI Design deliverables.

  • Financial services experience is a strong plus.

  • Designing for wireless devices a plus.
