Full Description:

Our client in Beaverton is looking for a talented Training Manager. You’ll oversee the development of trainers through workshops and one-on-one coaching. You’ll oversee the facilitation of training classes and learning forums on functional skill building for all band levels. You’ll also create a learning atmosphere, which appeals to a variety of learning styles and needs. In addition, you’ll revise materials as needed to reflect changes in business goals and strategies.  

 

Requirements for the position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Training, Communication, Education, Design/Development or similar

  • 5+ years’ experience in design, delivery and evaluation of training programs

  • 4+ years management and/or people leadership experience and proven capacity to set strategic direction and lead teams through high-profile projects

  • Ability to influence and work with senior management and knowledge of adult learning theory, systems thinking and the ability to apply them when developing training programs

  • Work related experience conducting needs assessments and tracking results and return on investment

  • Ability to translate technical information to non-technical users

  • High competency with PC, MS Office – Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Project

  • Broad business exposure and direct experience in implementation of business change and process improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to use sound decision making and problem solving/resolution skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - with ability to tailor message to audience

  • Strong analytical, investigative, interpersonal, written, and communicative skills

  • Excellent organizational influence and critical thinking skills

  • Strong team orientation, confidentiality, and ability to influence

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision

  • Experience in driving consensus across teams

  • Available to work flexible schedule when needed to accommodate remote training or meetings with global stakeholders

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Marketing environment is a plus
