Position: Automation Test Engineer 

Summary:

The Automation Testing Expert plays a vital role in our client’s commitment to quality assurance. This position focuses on enhancing efficiency and quality through automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in automated testing frameworks and a dedication to innovation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

40% – Automation Leadership and Collaboration:

• Spearhead and refine testing methodologies through automation and innovative tool usage.
• Partner with development teams to create easily testable solutions.
• Align with business needs while supporting streamlined solution delivery.
• Continually enrich the collection of use cases, test scenarios, and automated scripts.
• Emphasize and prioritize automation wherever possible.

20% – Support and Engagement:

• Offer vital support to the testing team, aligning with the needs and priorities of our client.
• Participate actively in the planning and execution of testing activities.

20% – Management of Testing Environments:

• Manage all aspects of test-related environments, including access rights, scheduling, communication, and data preparation.

10% – Advocacy for Best Practices:

• Encourage best practices through consistent interaction and collaboration.
• Connect business requirements with innovation, efficiency, and high quality.
• Sustain strategic coherence across teams, considering diverse methodologies in development, testing, and delivery.

10% – Ongoing Enhancement and Adoption:

• Stay informed about current trends in best practices, tools, and technologies.
• Proactively drive improvements, adoption, and implementation within the organization.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Profound understanding of automated testing platforms such as Selenium, SoapUI, SauceLabs, SOATest, TestStudio, jUnit, TestNG, jMeter.
• Comprehensive experience with quality reporting and tracking systems at the enterprise level.
