Responsibilities:
- Generate and revise complex assembly, weldment, and component detail drawings per the master Model layout or go-by drawing.
- Manage budgeted hours and timelines to complete assignments on schedule.
- Provide support activities to include:
- Loading BOMs and drawings into SAP to fill replacement parts orders in a timely fashion.
- Making drawing corrections.
- Investigate manufacturing problems including verifying engineering rework, confirm drawing changes were made, and inform the Production Engineering Manager.
- 5+ years of experience with mechanical and engineering drafting.
- Experience performing complex mechanical engineering drafting and design work in Inventor or SolidWorks (ACAD is a plus).
- Machinery design experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of sheet metal and welding practices.
