We at Mainz Brady Group are working with an exciting company in the Medical Industry that is looking or a DevOps Engineer for a fully remote contract role.  You would be directly working with the company leadership team to ensure that the overall Engineering team is aligned with the company strategy and goals.  The DevOps engineer also works with both the Infrastructure and DevOps leadership teams to build, deliver and maintain the platform.  You would also be working with the Product Team to ensure that all resources are allocated properly so that the team can meet product requirements.

Required Skills:

  • As a significant part of this role, individuals need 4+ years of experience in writing Cloudformation, CDK or Terraform. 
  • 4+ years setting up and maintaining high availability multi-region deployments and infrastructure.
  • Strong Javascript knowledge – must have a solid understanding of software coding and the development process.
  • High level of expertise setting up AWS infrastructure such as lambdas, SQS, RDS, IAM roles, security groups, WAF, and load balancers.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining monitoring tools like Sentry, CloudWatch, XRay, ElasticSearch, Grafana, or Splunk.  Candidates must have experience with at least 2 of these tools.
  • Very strong SQL skills.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Typescript experience
  • While this is not a developer position, candidates must be able to code.
