Job Description: Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team of software engineers and help us build and maintain high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and ensuring that they deliver on time and on budget, while also maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and leadership
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and performance
• Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to team members

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Engineering Management, leading teams of software engineers
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka
• Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile environments
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in writing user stories and understanding requirements is preferred
