Enterprise UX Designer

Our large retail client is looking for an Enterprise UX Designer for a long term contract in Portland or New York. The Platform Console is an enterprise-level application designed to help engineers and technologists discover, manage, and use Global Technology Solutions, APIs, and documentation, driving standardization and modernization across the technology landscape.

As a Senior UX Designer, you’ll take ownership of design initiatives for the Platform Console, ensuring a seamless user experience across platforms and fostering continuous improvement in a complex environment.

Who We’re Looking For

We need a designer who can lead UX processes end-to-end, setting the bar for design excellence in an enterprise setting. You’ll manage high-impact projects and push the boundaries of design through innovative thinking.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll collaborate with the Consumer & Enterprise Tools Team to scale product creation and enterprise capabilities. Reporting to the Design Director of Enterprise Capabilities, you’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

• Ownership & Leadership: Lead the UX design process from concept to delivery, solving complex problems and managing priorities with strong attention to detail.

• Strategic Thinking: Develop UX strategies that align with user needs and business goals, defining success metrics.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, user-centered designs.

• User Research: Conduct research to guide design decisions and validate solutions.

• Prototyping & Testing: Create prototypes and conduct usability tests to refine designs.

• Advocacy & Improvement: Champion user needs throughout the design process and continually improve your design craft, staying updated with industry trends.
