Lead Software Engineer – Java Developer
Java Developer – 12 month contract – Hybrid (2 days on-site) – 40 hour work week – $70/hr
The backbone of any technologically advanced team is their Lead Software Engineer, and that’s exactly what our powerhouse client in the financial industry is looking for. The task at hand is to be the Java Developer leading projects, teams, and serving as a peer mentor, while acting as a key participant in developing large scale technological solutions building web applications for the Enterprise Policy Office. You will design, code, test, debug, and document for multiple projects and programs, as well as review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environments, and technical challenges that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors (intangibles, or unprecedented technical factors, etc.). Not only will you collaborate with a variety of technical expert teams to resolve technical issues, but you will also take point in making companywide effecting decisions for technological and engineering best practices influencing teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
- 8+ years of web application development experience (preferably in ADA compliance/Accessibility compliance websites/UI)
- 5+ years of UI web application development experience in Angular
- Proficiency in Java, SQL Server, Angular, and Web UI
