Software Engineer (Java, AWS) – 100% remote, long-term contract / contract to hire
My name is Jeff W. and I am a Recruiting Manager in Portland, OR with 18 years of experience and contacts in the software/technology space.
I have a Fortune 100 client looking for Java talent with RESTful services and Cloud experience. I strive to work directly with managers and provide a 60 minute, one and done interview.
I am solely looking for engineers who can work for me as a W2 employee.
Here is what I am looking for:
Core Java, Java 8+
Experience designing, developing, and implementing RESTful APIs and services / microservices
Experience with Cloud and distributed applications (AWS preferred)
Experience or exposure to CI/CD, TDD, NoSQL, etc.
AND… A passion to develop software and collaborate with other engineers
