Merchandising Operations Manager, Footwear – Greater Portland, OR area

We are seeking an experienced Footwear Product Merchandising Operations Manager with experience executing strategy with Leadership and enhancing analytical capabilities for a Global Operations team with our Fortune 100 client in the Greater Portland, OR area (hybrid on-site/remote role). This Operations professional will drive operational excellence throughout the Product Creation & Merchandising processes, and help the team prepare for critical product creation gates by providing tools templates and guidance. 

  • 5+ years of work experience in Footwear Product Creation, Merchandising, Finance, Strategy, Consulting, or a similar relevant industry
  • Deep process and operational experience, including familiarity with the CODE Process and the end-to-end product operations process
  • Ability to assist on driving KPIs, business metrics, and providing one source of truth for product data 
  • Strong meeting facilitation experience is required, as well as calendar management and planning experience, and a deep passion for understanding and optimizing the product creation and merchandising seasonal process 
  • Collaborative and strong communication skillset, including strong story-telling skills and PowerPoint and/or keynote presentations; Ability to lead virtual teams, manage complex projects and balance multiple workstreams
  • Self-directed, organized, operationally minded, and comfortable working in ambiguous environments, as well as sitting at a Leadership table
