Our Restaurant franchise client is looking for a QA Engineer to help with testing and automation efforts to help lead the transformation to a more agile organization. They are looking for someone that can come in lead the use of an automated platform as well as develop testing frameworks and automated test suites to help solve the issues at hand.

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in a QA Engineer role developing and enhancing test automation platforms
  • 2-3 years’ experience with application performance testing
  • 2-3 years' experience developing automation using Java and/or Python (Java preferred)
  • 2-3 years' experience testing cloud hosted services and REST API’s
  • Demonstrated experience in database technologies and concepts (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL)
  • Expert in all aspects of testing strategy, planning, process definition, test data management and defect management
  • Expert level knowledge and capability with Automated Test Tools and concepts such as Selenium/WebDriver, Appium, Cucumber, SOAPUI, TestNG
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies and supporting tools (Jira, Confluence, GitHub, etc.)
  • Strong proactive communication, with great attention to detail and focus on execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, technology or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
