Technical Incident Lead

Come work in a 12-month Technical Incident Lead/NOC Engineer/Systems Engineer role with one of the leading all-in-one premium streaming service companies! MBG is looking for an on-the-spot thinking individual with strong technical expertise and great problem-solving skills to manage and triage major incidents across the company platform. The Technical Incident Lead will be responsible for adherence to policies, procedures, support coordination, and all other functions relating to the management and administration of the data centers and cloud operations.

$60/hour – W2 only – no C2C!


  • 3+ years of experience as a NOC engineer or Systems Engineer
  • Hands on experience with 24/7 Tech Operations
  • Experience in a lead role when working with helpdesk support or tech support
  • You have worked with or in a large corporation or business

What you will be doing:

  • You will be the lead role in this group to communicate all decisions and issues to the Support team
  • You are responsible for communicating any platform problems to the stakeholders
  • You will be responsible for timely declaration and escalation of planned and unplanned service disruptions, fixes
  • Establish timelines to ensure incidents are accurate for measurement of Time to Detect, Escalation, and Resolution
  • Proactively communicate with business and engineering stakeholders on potential customer-impacting issues


  • ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
  • Experience with Problem Management, and/or Change Management controls
  • Familiarity with software reliability and resiliency practices (circuit breaker & bulkhead pattern, background processing and failure handling, inter-region fallbacks/failover, best-case/worst-case/average-case performance)
  • Experience with compliance activities associated with SOX, and PCI DSS
