API Integration

Position Summary:
Responsible for integrating and maintaining APIs across internal and third-party applications, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange. Ideal for professionals with experience in off-the-shelf app integration and middleware tools like MuleSoft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage API integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Connect internal systems to cloud platforms and external services via APIs.
- Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions.
- Monitor performance, manage errors, and optimize API reliability and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with security and change management policies.
- Maintain technical documentation to support audit and business processes.
- Use Azure DevOps for CI/CD, version control, and deployment.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in API development or systems integration.
- Strong knowledge of MuleSoft, RAML, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Postman.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (Azure DevOps a plus).
- Understanding of API security, JSON/XML, and relevant programming languages.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and integration patterns.
