Costpoint Administrator
Our financial client is seeking a fulltime Deltek Costpoint Functional Administrator with expertise in Costpoint 8.1/8.2, SAP Concur, Cognos BI, and related tools. You’ll collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and HR teams to ensure systems run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves hands-on problem-solving, process optimization, and occasional night/weekend work.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the functional SME for all Costpoint modules: A/P, general ledger, billing, procurement, etc.

Maintain deep knowledge of application screens, job processing, and database interactions.

Provide daily support to Finance, Accounting, HR, Payroll, and Procurement teams.

Create and update documentation, process flows, and procedures aligned with audit/security standards.

Lead defect resolution and vendor escalations.

Configure and manage user access and security within the Costpoint System Admin Module.

Support testing efforts across unit, regression, integration, and UAT.

Assist in SOP creation and deliver training on Costpoint modules.
Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on Deltek Costpoint functional/admin experience.

Strong problem-solving and financial systems skills.

Advanced Excel and solid MS Office proficiency.

Comfortable managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Ability to address urgent technical and functional issues.
Preferred:

Experience with Cognos BI and Microsoft SQL.

Familiarity with IT/financial system audits.

Background in financial data analysis and reporting.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.
