Data Center Technician
We have an immediate need for a Data Center Technician for an onsite position in Hillsboro, OR.
- Execute decommissioning tasks under direction of on-site staff
- Verify each server node against provided asset lists before disconnection/removal
- Disconnect network and power connections (DAC, CAT6, or equivalent)
- Apply “DNR” labels to designated nodes
- Partially pull nodes (~2 inches) for ITAM vendor processing
- Fully decommission chassis: remove cables, unrack, palletize, and install blanking panels
- Confirm accuracy of details (location, rack unit, asset tags, serial numbers, etc.)
- Remove and process rail kits
