Women’s Tennis Apparel Designer

About the Role

This role is for a designer who thrives at the intersection of performance, culture, and innovation. You’ll help shape the future of women’s tennis apparel by pushing creative boundaries, elevating athlete performance, and translating insight into product that feels modern, expressive, and purpose-built.

Design here is both visionary and hands-on—grounded in craft, fueled by curiosity, and driven by collaboration. You’ll work in a fast-moving environment that values originality, diversity of thought, and bold design thinking.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll report to the Tennis Design Director and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across Design, Product Management, Merchandising, Graphics, Materials & Trim Development, Technical Development, Sourcing, and Athletes.
This role requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to translate consumer, athlete, and trend insights into performance-driven product.
This position does not have direct reports.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of experience in apparel design, with hands-on work across materials, trims, fit, and construction

  • Strong foundational design skills including sketching, illustration, and concept development across analog and digital platforms (3D experience is a plus)

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, concept ideation, and color theory, with strong presentation and storytelling skills

  • Deep understanding of materials, fit, and performance design

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating apparel design excellence

  • Background in sport performance or sport-style innovation is a plus
