Desktop Specialist
IT Support Technician
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Position Overview
This role provides on-site and remote IT support for employees and company IT equipment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced supporting Windows-based environments.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for employees and IT equipment

Troubleshoot and resolve request and break/fix incidents

Support end-user hardware including laptops, desktops, monitors, docks, keyboards, mice, printers, and A/V equipment

Provide remote technical support to employees

Assist with shipping/receiving and asset management tasks

Provide VIP/executive support as needed
-
Support Help Desk call queue
Note: May be added to the on-call rotation after 3 months.
Required Qualifications

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Proficient with Windows 11

Proficient with Office 365

Experience supporting laptop and desktop accessories (monitors, docks, keyboards, mice)

Experience providing remote user support

Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Mac support experience

UPS Campus Ship experience

Experience with BMC Remedy (incident management system)

Familiarity with Microsoft Teams Rooms
