Title: IT Infrastructure & Security Manager – FTE – REMOTE

Summary:
Join a high-impact IT leadership role where you’ll drive infrastructure, security, and support operations across cloud and on-prem environments. This is a hybrid contract opportunity based in Portland, OR, with a chance to influence IT strategy and modernize systems across a distributed organization. You’ll lead a multi-functional technical team, shape long-term IT initiatives, and present to executive leadership. If you’re a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise and strong people skills—this one’s for you.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading infrastructure teams across cloud (especially Azure) and on-prem environments

  • Strong knowledge of IT systems: networking, servers, AD, firewalls, DR/BC planning, and cybersecurity (SOC, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management)

  • Led or supported IT support/helpdesk operations and implemented ITSM platforms like ServiceNow or Jira

  • Managed multi-disciplinary IT teams across multiple sites; comfortable coaching staff and reporting to executives

  • Experience with IT budgeting, vendor management, and governance within enterprise or regulated settings

Bonus Points / Preferred:

  • Azure cloud leadership and relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, Azure Architect, ITIL)

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, SOC2) and physical security systems

  • Background in highly regulated industries (healthcare, pharma, finance, manufacturing)
