Deltek Costpoint Functional Administrator
Location: North Dallas, TX (Onsite)
Summary:
Join a dynamic team supporting critical financial and operational systems! We’re looking for a Deltek Costpoint Functional Administrator to provide expertise in Deltek Costpoint 8.1/8.2, SAP Concur, Cognos BI, and related tools. You’ll work closely with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and HR teams to ensure seamless system functionality and optimization. This role requires hands-on problem-solving, process improvements, and occasional night/weekend work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a functional SME for all Costpoint modules, including accounts payable, general ledger, billing, and procurement.
- Maintain expertise in front-end application screens, job processing, and database interactions.
- Provide direct support to Finance, Accounting, Procurement, HR, and Payroll teams.
- Develop and maintain documentation, process flows, and procedures while ensuring compliance with audit and security standards.
- Lead defect resolution and escalation with Deltek vendors.
- Configure and maintain Costpoint System Admin Module, including user setup and security.
- Support system testing, including unit, regression, UAT, and integration tests.
- Assist with SOPs and deliver training for Costpoint modules.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Deltek Costpoint support and functional administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills in financial systems and processes.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and strong MS Office skills.
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams and managing shifting priorities.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle urgent technical/functional issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Cognos BI and Microsoft SQL.
- Familiarity with financial/IT system audits.
- Background in financial data analysis and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.
