IBMi System Engineer

IBMi (AS/400) Systems Engineer

Unique on-site opportunity in Chicago, IL
Open to candidates in Chicago metro or candidates willing to move Chicago

Utilize your strong understanding of IBMi architecture, security, hardware, and Fortra toolsets to design, implement and maintain IBMi (formally known as AS/400) with cross-functional teams.

Skill Set

• Experienced with OS/400 in an IASP environment

• Experience with PowerHA as HA/DR Methodology for IASP environment, and Fortra’s RobotHA as HA/DR Methodology for all data in SYSBASE

• Experienced working with IBM storage systems, DS8K and V7K

• Experience with IBMi performance tools such as iDoctor and MPG

• Advanced knowledge of all Fortra’s products supporting IBMi

• Experience with business applications such as BizManager, EDI, and GoAnyWhere MFT
