Senior Product Line Manager – Basketball Apparel

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Line Manager to lead the development of performance and lifestyle basketball apparel, including team uniforms and athlete-focused products. This role will drive product strategy, manage the end-to-end product creation process, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative products that serve athletes on the court and consumers off the court.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Development, Sports Product Management, Merchandising, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Merchandising, Product Creation, or a related consumer products role
• Strong passion for product, sports, fashion, lifestyle trends, color, and style
• Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Demonstrated success delivering products on schedule and meeting business objectives
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, SmartSheets, Miro, or similar planning and visualization tools
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 10%)

Key Responsibilities

• Help define and execute basketball apparel product strategies that drive growth and consumer engagement
• Manage the creation and development of team uniforms and athlete-inspired apparel collections
• Gather consumer, marketplace, and athlete insights to inform product decisions and future opportunities
• Build product briefs and collaborate with design, development, and merchandising partners throughout the product creation process
• Lead cross-functional product teams through seasonal product development cycles
• Partner directly with professional sports organizations, teams, athletes, and external stakeholders to understand business and product needs
• Present product concepts, strategies, and seasonal assortments to internal leadership and external partners
• Own key product milestones and deliverables from concept through commercialization
• Drive revenue growth and support business objectives through strong product planning and execution
• Identify opportunities, solve challenges, and make informed product decisions that improve consumer relevance and marketplace impact
• Ensure products meet quality, performance, cost, and consumer expectations
