Senior Server Automation Engineer – Remote

Mainz Brady Group is seeking a Senior Server Automation Engineer to lead automation across a large hybrid enterprise environment. You’ll own patching, application packaging, OS deployments, and automation pipelines for on-prem and Azure. Ideal for someone passionate about eliminating manual processes and building scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Automate Windows Server deployments using SCCM, Packer, and Ansible

  • Develop patching strategies, scripts, and application packaging processes

  • Lead automation of server provisioning, patch compliance, and software rollouts

  • Collaborate with teams to unify automation across on-prem and Azure

  • Maintain Infrastructure as Code and configuration management workflows

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years managing Windows Server infrastructure at scale

  • Expert with SCCM/MECM, PowerShell, and automation scripting

  • Experience with Azure services, Ansible, and Packer

  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and infrastructure monitoring tools

Nice to Have: Terraform, regulated industry experience, Microsoft certifications, Azure Local knowledge
