Mainz Brady Group is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build the content and metadata systems. You’ll work with tools like Java, Python, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and AWS (Lambda, Kinesis, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable systems
- Lead technical design and feature development
- Collaborate with PMs to plan and deliver projects
- Mentor engineers and identify technical improvements
- Enhance internal tools with a user-focused approach
- Write robust, testable code
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Strong skills in Java, Python, JavaScript (Node, React)
- Experience with relational/NoSQL DBs and event-driven systems
- Solid AWS knowledge (Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, etc.)
- Strong CS fundamentals and communication skills
- GraphQL knowledge is a plus
