Sr. Systems Administrator – IBMi

Mainz Brady Group is seeking a skilled Sr. Systems Administrator – IBMi to support and maintain critical IT infrastructure. This role focuses on IBM i systems (AS/400, iSeries), backups, performance monitoring, and system security. Ideal for someone experienced, adaptable, and collaborative.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and support software on IBM i systems.
• Monitor backups, performance, and system security.
• Support SAN storage, VTL backups (BRMS), and IBM DS8000.
• Assist Helpdesk with escalated technical issues.
• Document policies and ensure SOX compliance.
• Perform patching, maintenance, and off-hours work as needed.

• 5+ years in system administration, focused on IBM i.
• Experience with Power 10, SAN storage, Apache servers, and IBM Web Services.
• Knowledge of COBIT, ISACA, or SANS frameworks.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
• CL programming a plus.
