Technical Project Manager – Data Center & Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead the delivery of complex, cross-functional data center and infrastructure initiatives. This role partners closely with engineering, infrastructure, operations, security, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are planned, executed, and delivered on time, within scope, and with clear visibility to leadership.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management fundamentals, solid technical fluency, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced enterprise environments. This is a delivery-focused role requiring influence, coordination, and accountability across multiple teams and workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects and initiatives

• Own the end-to-end project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, milestones, risks, and dependencies

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and delivery artifacts

• Track and manage RAID items, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues

• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams

• Facilitate project meetings, delivery ceremonies, and stakeholder working sessions

• Provide clear, executive-ready status updates and reporting

• Partner with vendors, OEMs, and external teams as needed

• Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution

• Drive accountability and outcomes while influencing without direct authority

Project & Technical Environment

• Cloud and infrastructure initiatives

• Data center and hardware deployments

• Network and systems migrations

• Security, compliance, and platform modernization efforts

• Multi-workstream or program-level initiatives

The TPM is expected to understand technical concepts well enough to communicate effectively with engineers and architects, identify delivery risks, and maintain momentum. Hands-on engineering experience is preferred but not required, as this role is not hands-on.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of experience in project or program management roles

• Experience delivering technical projects in enterprise environments

• Background supporting data center, infrastructure, or platform initiatives

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and delivery fundamentals

• Experience partnering with engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams

• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent projects

Preferred

• Experience supporting cloud, infrastructure, data center, or network programs

• Experience working with vendors, OEMs, or offshore teams

• PMP, Scrum, SAFe, or similar certifications (preferred, not required)

• Experience operating within a PMO or governed enterprise environment
