This role requires deep expertise in scripting (preferably Python), strong experience working with REST/JSON APIs, and hands-on ability to leverage agentic AI frameworks by orchestrating AI agents through API endpoints to drive autonomous workflows, decision-making, and self-healing automation.

The ideal candidate thrives in complex environments, partners closely with engineering, SRE, and platform teams, and brings a forward-thinking mindset to AI-augmented automation while maintaining enterprise-grade security, reliability, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation solutions using Python and other scripting languages
  • Build API-first automation by integrating systems using RESTful services, webhooks, and event-driven patterns
  • Implement AI-driven workflows by orchestrating agents via API endpoints for remediation, validation, and decision support
  • Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure platforms, and application ecosystems
  • Partner with SRE, Platform, and Application teams to improve reliability and operational efficiency
  • Develop reusable frameworks, libraries, and services that scale across the enterprise
  • Ensure automation aligns with security, compliance, and governance standards
  • Document automation designs, APIs, and operational runbooks
  • Evaluate emerging automation and AI technologies to drive innovation

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Python and/or shell scripting for automation and orchestration
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, authentication, and integrations
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience integrating automation across infrastructure, middleware, or applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate manual processes into automation
  • Experience working in large, complex environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/LLM-based systems or agentic AI workflows
  • Familiarity with orchestrating AI agents via APIs
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar platforms
  • Exposure to event-driven or asynchronous architectures
  • Experience in regulated environments (finance, healthcare, etc.)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
