AV CAD Operator

We are looking for an AV Commercial CAD Operator Specialist to join our team in Waukesha, Wisconsin! Our company specializes in providing total room solutions, with a talented staff of AV System Designers, Engineers, Project Managers/Estimators, and AV Technology Installation Specialists.

In this role, you will work closely with our AV System Designers and collaborate with clients, vendors, and suppliers during the installation and commissioning of AV technology. Key responsibilities include:

• Reading and analyzing AV construction documents and scope of work.
• Assisting the Engineering Department by providing drawings for submittals and quotations.
• Supporting the Operations Department with documentation for customer-installed systems.
• Developing a comprehensive naming and storage scheme for archiving customer drawings.
• Staying updated on new technologies and standards to ensure accurate documentation processes.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with CAD technology or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and develop layouts from schematics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Responsible, self-motivated, and well-organized.
• Superior customer service skills for interacting with both internal and external customers.
