AV Commercial CAD Operator Specialist

We are currently seeking an AV Commercial CAD Operator Specialist to join our team. This role is key to ensuring AV requirements are integrated early in the design process, supporting a seamless technology implementation throughout construction and installation phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret AV construction documents and scopes of work

• Collaborate with AV System Designers during installation and commissioning of AV technology

• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and suppliers to support AV installations

• Support the Engineering team in the sales process by preparing technical drawings for submittals and quotations

• Assist the Operations team in producing and organizing documentation for installed AV systems

• Develop and maintain a consistent file naming and storage system for archiving customer drawings

• Stay current on AV technologies and industry standards to ensure accurate and efficient documentation

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with CAD technology or a comparable combination of education and experience

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and develop layouts from technical schematics

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently

• Excellent customer service skills for both internal and external interactions
