Business Ops Specialist
Business Operations Specialist, Integrated Marketing
About the Role
You’ll help Integrated Marketing operate at scale by building durable workflows, enabling tool adoption, and smoothing cross-functional collaboration. You’ll design, implement, and enable Jira and Confluence solutions—then partner with marketing teams to adopt, own, and evolve them long-term. This is a change-management role: discovery with stakeholders, intuitive workflows, training and enablement, and a clean handoff for sustainable ownership.
Responsibilities
-
Partner with Integrated Marketing leaders and end users to run discovery, capture requirements, and configure Jira projects and Confluence spaces tailored to team needs.
-
Drive adoption via documentation, playbooks, best practices, training sessions, office hours, and stakeholder workshops.
-
Build Jira projects with custom workflows, dashboards, automations, and reporting, ensuring usability and scale.
-
Stand up Confluence spaces for knowledge sharing, process docs, and project tracking to support ongoing ops.
-
Create reusable templates, playbooks, and toolkits other teams can replicate.
-
Serve as a trusted advisor and change agent, promoting consistent standards and best-practice usage across teams.
-
Oversee handoff of projects/trackers so marketing teams can independently manage and iterate.
-
Identify workflow improvements and recommend apps, plugins, or integrations that enhance efficiency.
-
Provide leadership with reports, summaries, dashboards, and visualizations surfacing dependencies, risks, and progress.
-
Champion consistent Jira/Confluence use by sharing success stories and standardizing conventions.
Requirements
-
Proven ability to partner with and present to Director+ leadership, translating complex needs into clear solutions.
-
Hands-on experience running end-user discovery and designing Jira workflows/Confluence spaces that drive adoption.
-

-
Experience defining, documenting, and enabling operational processes for marketing or GTM teams, with emphasis on change management.
-

-
Excellent communication, facilitation, and training skills; able to influence stakeholders at every level.
-
Comfortable in a matrixed environment, balancing competing priorities and bringing structure to ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience in SaaS environments.
-
Familiarity with marketing operations (campaign planning, launches, content production, comms calendars).
