Digital Marketing Manager – Retention & Lifecycle Marketing
We’re seeking a Digital Marketing Manager with deep expertise in email and SMS marketing to lead our retention and lifecycle initiatives. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing targeted, data-driven campaigns across owned messaging channels—from strategy and content creation to testing and post-send analysis.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in CRM automation, audience segmentation, and crafting personalized customer journeys that boost engagement, drive conversions, and improve customer lifetime value. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, data, and creative teams to build seamless multi-touchpoint experiences that move customers through the funnel and foster long-term loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic email and SMS marketing campaigns focused on engagement, retention, and conversion

Build automated workflows and lifecycle journeys (e.g., onboarding, win-back, re-engagement, upsell) within the CRM

Segment audiences based on behavior, lifecycle stage, and customer attributes to deliver personalized content

Create and test high-impact messaging and offers using A/B testing frameworks and iterative optimization

Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop compelling, on-brand assets and messaging

Monitor campaign KPIs (open rates, CTR, conversion, unsubscribe rates, CLV) and report on performance with actionable insights

Ensure compliance with regulations and best practices for email and text messaging (e.g., CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR)

Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and performance benchmarks
Qualifications:

3–5+ years of digital marketing experience, with a strong focus on email, SMS, and lifecycle marketing

Proficient with CRM platforms such as Klaviyo, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or similar

Proven ability to build and optimize automated journeys that drive measurable impact

Deep knowledge of audience segmentation, behavioral targeting, and personalization tactics

Strong analytical skills and comfort with tools like Google Analytics, Looker, or CRM dashboards

Experience conducting A/B tests and using data to inform campaign decisions

Familiarity with compliance standards across email/SMS marketing (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, etc.)

Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
