You will support and manage production SQL Server databases and play a pivotal role in utilizing new Azure technologies:
Role
- Maintain backup and recovery plans, handle database security, and perform capacity planning
- Manage high volume databases within clustered environments
- Create replication strategies using native SQL Server replication, ETL, etc.
- Create stored procedures, triggers and user defined functions
- Plan and migrate on-prem SQL environments to the cloud (Azure)
Skill Set
- 5+ years of DBA experience
- Experience with SSMS, SSRS, SSIS
- Understanding of administering SQL Servers within Azure and managing Azure Data Factory
- Knowledge of SQL for database management and T-SQL for Microsoft SQL Server
