Senior IT Project Manager
Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the recovery, stabilization, and optimization of a large-scale SaaS implementation supporting critical operational systems. This full-time, onsite role will focus on restoring reliable business operations, improving system performance, repairing key integrations, and driving user adoption.
The ideal candidate is an experienced project leader with a strong background in enterprise SaaS implementations, cross-functional coordination, stakeholder management, and operational process improvement. This individual will help transition the platform from a remediation phase into a stable, sustainable production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct an onsite assessment of the current implementation and develop a comprehensive 12-month remediation roadmap.
- Coordinate daily with internal stakeholders and software vendors to resolve defects, improve data quality, and stabilize core business processes.
- Lead efforts to restore and optimize critical system integrations, including ERP, payment platforms, GIS, telematics, and other operational systems.
- Provide leadership and direction to project managers, business analysts, system analysts, and technical teams.
- Implement structured change management, incident management, release management, and governance processes.
- Deliver onsite end-user support, training, and updated standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Establish a sustainable long-term support model and successfully transition the platform into steady-state operations.

Typical Responsibilities
- Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close IT projects using established project management methodologies.
- Define project scope, schedules, budgets, dependencies, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate project meetings, schedules, resources, and deliverables across multiple teams.
- Prepare and present project status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and overall financial performance.
- Direct project teams and monitor progress against milestones.
- Manage project change requests and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
- Identify, engage, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Support contract administration and vendor management activities.
- Assist with developing, reviewing, and evaluating Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
- Develop and review Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Participate in vendor evaluations and selection processes.
- Create evaluation criteria and scoring models for proposal assessments.
- Coordinate technical resource estimates for project planning and execution.
- Support contract negotiations and scope development.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Senior Level: 5–8 years of IT Project Management experience.
- Expert Level: 8+ years of IT Project Management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience leading enterprise SaaS implementation, recovery, or stabilization projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Experience managing cross-functional technical and business teams.
- Background working with enterprise system integrations and vendor management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience delivering projects involving ERP systems, operational platforms, payment systems, GIS, or similar enterprise technologies is highly preferred.
