UX Designer with Strong IVR experience

About the Role
Join a collaborative team helping enterprises modernize legacy IVR systems into AI-powered conversational experiences. In this embedded role, you’ll work alongside product owners, developers, and UX teams to redesign and optimize IVR journeys while preparing for conversational AI and bot adoption.

What You’ll Do

• Design and optimize conversational experiences for IVR systems and AI-powered bots
• Create call flows, prompts, and detailed design documentation to support implementation
• Translate business requirements into user-centered conversational designs
• Advocate for end-user experience and best practices across design decisions
• Present concepts and design rationale to stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with developers to ensure feasibility within IVR platforms and constraints

What You Bring

• ~5 years of experience in conversation design
• Strong background in IVR/contact center design and optimization
• Experience creating design specs, call flows, and documentation
• Ability to work in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of NLU concepts (intents, entities, confidence levels)

Nice to Have

• Portfolio showcasing conversation design work
• Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other regulated industries
• Background in linguistics, UX, or human factors
• Experience with voice or chat-based AI design
• Exposure to user research or usability testing
