Junior Software Engineer – GitHub Platform Support
Summary:
Join a dynamic platform team as a Junior Software Engineer focused on automating and administering a large GitHub environment supporting thousands of developers. This is a full-time, hybrid contract position based in Beaverton, OR—on-site Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays. You’ll collaborate with seasoned engineers and security pros to enhance developer productivity and platform governance.
Requirements:
• 1–2 years of professional or internship experience with Python development
• Strong understanding of Git, version control, and CI/CD concepts (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Basic familiarity with Linux, Bash scripting, and networking fundamentals
• Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or equivalent hands-on experience
