Network Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design and deployment of enterprise network infrastructure across both retail and distribution environments. This role is ideal for a highly experienced engineer with deep expertise in Cisco and Palo Alto technologies who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and deploy Cisco and Palo Alto hardware and network security policies across the enterprise.

• Lead and guide teams informally through the build and deployment lifecycle.

• Focus on critical areas including VPN, LAN/WAN, wireless networks, routing, IPS/IDS systems, identity services, and proxy solutions.

• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of the network across multiple sites.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in a network analyst or engineering role.

• Proven hands-on experience deploying and managing Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls, including policy design and implementation.

• Strong background in VPN technologies, LAN/WAN architecture, and wireless networking.

• Experience with identity services (e.g., Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass) and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

• Relevant Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.

• Experience with cloud networking and/or automation tools (Ansible, Python) is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with supporting call center environments, especially regarding voice pathing, is a plus.
