We are seeking a Lead Technical Designer to drive fit and construction excellence across performance and lifestyle apparel. In this role, you will oversee the full product lifecycle from concept through production, ensuring design intent translates into manufacturable, high-quality product. You will collaborate with Design, Product, Materials, and Testing teams to create innovative solutions that balance performance, sustainability, and style.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and revise Tech Packs, ensuring accurate product specifications and prototype documentation.

  • Define and maintain fit and construction standards for assigned styles and product groups.

  • Track and manage prototype development, meeting critical dates and business objectives.

  • Identify and resolve construction and manufacturing challenges to protect product integrity.

  • Lead fit sessions, presenting findings and driving technical adjustments.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate athlete/consumer insights into design solutions.

  • Monitor product testing, communicating progress and challenges throughout the lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Design, Textile Science, or related field (experience may substitute).

  • 8+ years of technical design experience in apparel, from inception through production.

  • Expertise in pattern making, grading, construction, materials, costing, and quality assurance.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CAD pattern design software (Optitex), and 3D tools (Clo/Browzwear preferred).

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and travel as needed.
