Quality Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support product and process quality throughout the product lifecycle. This role will investigate and resolve quality issues, lead quality engineering projects, ensure compliance with established standards, and partner with internal teams and suppliers to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead quality engineering projects from concept through design, testing, implementation, documentation, and support.
• Develop procedures, specifications, and quality standards for products and manufacturing processes.
• Investigate quality issues and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Collect and analyze data for product, gauge, and process evaluation.
• Support FMEA, design assurance, product testing, process control, and process capability activities.
• Perform and support audits, inspections, and testing to ensure product conformity.
• Review engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and measurement requirements.
• Work with suppliers to ensure quality requirements, processes, and resources are in place.
• Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and regulatory teams.

Required Skills

• 3–5+ years of Quality Engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of QSR/ISO regulations, FMEA, CAPA, design assurance, and product testing.
• Experience with GD&T, blueprint reading, CMMs, and optical comparators.
• Knowledge of statistics, statistical process control, and process capability.
• Strong project leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. An alternative bachelor’s degree with Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification and relevant Quality Engineering experience may also be considered.
