Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) 
(West Coast)

The DEE Technology team is seeking a Sr. SDET to build robust automation and testing frameworks for our server-side and database-driven systems. This role is hands-on and highly technical — ideal for engineers passionate about Python, APIs, and database testing.

Must-Haves:

  • Strong Python skills (you’ll be tested on CoderPad)

  • Experience with RESTful APIs

  • Strong SQL and database testing expertise (queries, schema validation)

  • Experience building automation frameworks and CI/CD (Jenkins, Spinnaker, etc.)

  • Familiarity with Agile, BDD/TDD, and Big Data testing

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop automated test suites for UI, API, and integration levels

  • Collaborate with software engineers to design for testability

  • Identify, triage, and resolve complex system issues

  • Convert manual tests to automated scripts whenever possible

Location: West Coast preferred
Interviews: 3 rounds including live Python coding on CoderPad
