Senior Account Executive — Public Sector SaaS (Remote)
We’re hiring a full-cycle closer to drive new business in the public safety space. If you excel at complex, multi-stakeholder deals and keep immaculate CRM hygiene, we’d love to talk.
What “closing experience” means here
End-to-end ownership of the sales cycle (prospecting ? discovery ? solutioning ? negotiation ? signature).
SDR/BDR activity does not count toward years of closing experience. If you’ve held an Inside Sales title, please clarify whether you owned full-cycle closing or primarily did lead gen/SDR work.
Must-Haves
- 5+ years of SaaS sales with true full-cycle closing responsibility
- Highly experienced with 3–6 month, complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Proven track record exceeding quota; strong executive-level communication
- Ability to project-manage a large pipeline across varied stages
- Highly skilled at remote SaaS demos and multi-threading deals
- Proficient with Salesforce and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote) and CRM best practices
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of local/state/federal procurement processes (public safety)
- Success with long sales cycles and large transactions
- Excellent virtual presentation & phone sales abilities; fast rapport-builder
- Consultative, public-safety-centric approach (law enforcement, fire, EMS, corrections)
- Strong self-management and a documentation mindset (high CRM detail)
- Experience selling to law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, corrections, local/state governments
- First-responder leadership background is a plus
Target Outcomes
- Hit monthly/quarterly sales goals and maintain strong win rates
- Closing experience confirmation (state “full-cycle closer” and clarify any Inside Sales titles)
- Quota attainment by period (e.g., FY2023: 108% • FY2024 YTD: 96%). Include honors like President’s Club, if applicable.
