Service Device Management Engineer

In this role, you will join an engineering team focused on providing pre-production testing support, configuration, management, and post-deployment operational support for Endpoint Privilege Management. This will involve deploying the solution, collaborating with teams to establish a baseline set of rules for launch, and reviewing findings with security teams. After the production launch, you will handle future configuration requests from business units and train tier 1 approvers, all while driving a seamless employee experience across devices.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and support Endpoint Privilege Management solutions for managed devices.
- Plan and execute ongoing configurations and upgrades for the solution.
- Address ongoing requests for configuration changes to facilitate application elevation based on customer needs and security recommendations.
- Track and report metrics related to operations and deployment, including key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with security, engineers, and IT support groups to propose and deliver deployments.
- Review configurations for audit purposes with security engineers, business units, and device engineers as necessary.
- Utilize device management services like Microsoft Intune and JAMF for application deployment.
- Use ServiceNow and JIRA to manage tasks from start to finish.
- Provide daily feedback to Device Management engineers on testing results and troubleshooting.
- Engage in agile project methodologies to ensure timely delivery of team and individual project tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficient in Windows 10/11 and MacOS.
- Familiar with Endpoint Privilege Management solutions.
- 1-2 years of experience with Endpoint Privilege Management tools.
- Knowledge of device management technologies such as Intune, JAMF, and SCCM.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in device management and/or support.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and adapt to shifting tasks.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Creative problem-solver with a knack for developing supportable solutions.
- 2-3 years of experience in device management and/or Endpoint Privilege Management support or engineering.
- Experience in large-scale deployment projects, either in a lead role or as a key contributor.
- Ability to proactively assess risks and implement risk-based solutions.
- Experience managing security and compliance features, including security baselines and device compliance.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft, Mac, or security domains.
