Social Media Graphic Designer
Responsibilities

Design and produce static and motion social content across owned channels including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, X, and Threads, partnering closely with the Social Content Producer to execute day-to-day creative.

Translate brand guidelines, product narratives, and campaign priorities into social-first visuals that feel native to each platform.

Maintain a high visual standard across all social content, from rapid-turn lo-fi posts (memes, trends, reactive moments) to polished campaign and product-led assets (video product animations, educational carousels).

Edit, resize, and adapt creative for multiple platforms and formats, optimizing for performance, clarity, and shareability.

Experiment with new visual styles, formats, and motion approaches to evolve how the brand shows up in social feeds, while balancing consistency and speed.

Collaborate with Brand Design and Brand Marketing partners to ensure social executions align with broader initiatives and launch moments.

Contribute to ongoing creative reviews and retrospectives by sharing insights, learnings, and recommendations to improve future social work.

Help define and raise the bar for the brand’s social visual identity by identifying opportunities to modernize, simplify, or selectively break design standards to cut through the noise on social.
Requirements

2–4 years of experience creating social-first graphics and motion design for a brand or agency, with a portfolio spanning platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, YouTube, Reddit, and LinkedIn.

Strong design skills across short-form video, motion graphics, static posts, carousels, stories, and other platform-native formats.

Deep understanding of how visual design and motion perform on social platforms, including format best practices, trends, and audience behavior.

Proficiency with design and motion tools, particularly Figma and Adobe After Effects.

Ability to develop rough concepts, storyboards, and visual direction in partnership with social and creative teams.

Strong interest in internet culture and trends, with the ability to translate them into relevant, brand-appropriate content.

A test-and-learn mindset, comfortable experimenting, iterating, and applying performance insights to future work.

Strong attention to detail, ensuring creative aligns with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements.

Comfortable working in a Virtual First or distributed work environment.
