Mainz Brady Group is looking to hire an SW Engineer for our client in Media. We’re looking for a driven technologist who brings fresh perspective, strong engineering fundamentals, and a collaborative mindset. You enjoy solving complex problems, improving how teams work, and building scalable systems that power high-traffic applications.
What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design and build high-throughput systems
  • Contribute to cross-team architecture and technical design discussions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across web and mobile services and APIs
  • Support full-stack development efforts as needed
  • Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices
  • Continuously improve development processes and team workflows
  • Research and experiment with emerging technologies to inform future solutions
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant, high-volume systems
  • Proficiency in Java and open-source technologies (Spring, Tomcat, MySQL, Kafka, Elasticsearch)
  • Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, ECS, SQS, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation
  • Experience across the full application lifecycle, including testing, documentation, and code reviews
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures on AWS
Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude, Amazon Q, or GitHub Copilot
