Incident Response Coordinator – 24 Month Contract – Remote, CST or EST
Summary: We are seeking an experienced Incident Response Coordinator to join our IT team. This role is crucial for managing IT service disruptions, leading incident response efforts, and ensuring smooth IT operations using ITIL best practices and ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will proactively monitor system health, manage incidents, changes, and problems, and collaborate with technical teams to minimize business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Incident Management: Lead response efforts, conduct root cause analysis, and implement resolutions.
Change & Problem Management: Coordinate smooth change implementations and resolve recurring IT issues.
ServiceNow Utilization: Leverage ServiceNow for incident tracking, change management, and reporting.
System Monitoring & Reporting: Develop dashboards, track key metrics, and improve IT service stability.
Collaboration & Communication: Work with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders on high-priority incidents.
Top Qualifications:
3/5 years of IT operations experience focusing on ITIL frameworks and incident, change, and problem management.
Proficiency in ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
Project management experience with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with teams and mentor junior staff.
