Application Security Engineer
We’re looking for a kind, collaborative engineer who loves coding, learning, and mentoring. This role is hands-on with Python (plus another language), focused on code reviews, and built around empathy, teamwork, and growing together.
What You’ll Do
Write and review code (Python + another language).
Run security assessments, penetration tests, and code audits.
Use tools (SAST, DAST, IAST) to find and fix vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with devs and SREs to embed security into the SDLC.
Mentor teammates and stay ahead of new threats.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years in cybersecurity OR 7+ years in software engineering with security focus.
Strong soft skills — empathetic, collaborative, eager to learn/teach.
Hands-on with penetration testing, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and CI/CD pipelines.
Proficient in Python + one other language.
Bonus: OSCP, GPEN, or GWAPT certifications.
