Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Architect to design and implement scalable data warehousing solutions in the cloud, with a strong focus on Databricks Lakehouse. This role requires a strategic mindset, deep technical expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into efficient data models and architectures. The ideal candidate will drive enterprise data strategies, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. This is a contract opportunity with a remote option, though preference may be given to candidates in certain time zones.
Requirements:
- Expertise in Cloud Data Architecture with hands-on experience designing and implementing Databricks Lakehouse solutions.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and big data technologies.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with experience in optimizing performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks to maintain data integrity and security.
