Database Architect

We are seeking a Database Architect with expertise in Databricks to design and optimize data architectures, ensure governance and compliance, and support cloud-based data migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage Databricks environments, including clusters, Delta Sharing, Unity Catalog, RBAC, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement data governance & compliance policies, data lineage, and access control for different teams.
• Design efficient data models, apply Medallion Architecture, and optimize queries for performance.
• Orchestrate workflows using Brickflow, Notebooks, and other automation tools.
• Lead Snowflake-to-Databricks migrations, ensuring schema conversion, performance tuning, and data consistency.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Python and SQL in a data engineering or architecture role.
• Expertise in Databricks setup, management, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, and workflow orchestration.
• Experience with cloud-based data migration and optimization strategies.
