Project Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support project managers throughout the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout. This role is responsible for coordinating project schedules, budgets, status reporting, communications, documentation, meetings, issue tracking, risk management, and resource coordination.

The Project Coordinator may also independently manage small, well-defined projects or sub-projects while working under the guidance of senior project leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Support project planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout activities.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, communication plans, and risk registers.
  • Track project costs, issues, risks, changes, and action items.
  • Prepare project status reports, presentations, and other documentation for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, including agendas, meeting notes, and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with established project management standards.
  • Monitor project deliverables, timelines, and quality to support successful project execution.
  • Assist with project documentation management and maintain organized project repositories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and support project objectives.
  • Help ensure projects adhere to organizational project management policies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Healthcare, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a project coordination or project support role.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques, and project lifecycle disciplines.
  • Ability to manage small projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Project Management certification or formal training is a plus.

Work Environment

  • Candidates must be available to work Pacific Time Zone hours.
  • Primarily office-based work in a standard professional environment.
  • No unusual working conditions.
