Electrical Engineer
Electrical Engineer – 12 Month Contract – Onsite, Portland Oregon
Summary: We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our Truck Manufacturing client. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment and systems for various applications, ensuring projects are executed with a focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation. Ideal candidates are skilled in interpreting engineering drawings, possess strong analytical abilities, and have a track record of successful project management.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical equipment, including controls, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Assess design models for cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety.
- Estimate project timelines and costs, ensuring on-time completion within budget.
- Simulate and test operations of machinery, structures, and systems.
- Conduct research on competitors’ products and evaluate vendor offerings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in creating engineering drawings, sketches, and performing complex computations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with design software and computer applications related to electrical engineering.
- Ability to apply electrical theory principles to real-world engineering challenges.
