Technical Project Manager, Software & Firmware – Experience with Consumer Product

Mainz Brady Group is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to drive execution across software and firmware development teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and can bring structure, alignment, and momentum to complex technical programs.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead execution for software and firmware development initiatives across cross-functional teams
• Manage sprint planning, backlog prioritization, bug triage, and delivery tracking in JIRA
• Build and improve agile processes to support efficient team execution
• Drive clear priorities, ownership, follow-ups, and risk management
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and working sessions that move projects forward
• Partner with engineering, product, design, and QA teams to resolve ambiguity and maintain alignment
• Maintain documentation and reporting to support execution and accountability


Requirements
• Senior-level experience managing software and firmware projects in agile environments
• Background as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Agile Delivery Lead
• Experience supporting hardware-integrated or mechatronics products
• Strong expertise with JIRA workflows, prioritization, and backlog management
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills
• Self-starter with a builder mindset who creates structure and drives outcomes in evolving environments


Preferred
• Experience with embedded systems, robotics, wearables, or firmware-driven products
• Familiarity with firmware development and validation workflows
• Experience working with external partners and R&D-focused teams
