Overview
Seeking a backend-focused Java engineer with event-driven architecture experience and exposure to AI/conversational platforms. You’ll build scalable, real-time systems at the intersection of backend engineering and AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Java/Spring Boot backend services
- Develop event-driven systems using Kafka
- Create real-time data pipelines (Flink or similar)
- Integrate AI and conversational platforms
- Design REST APIs and microservices
- Partner with engineering and product teams
- 6–8 years Java (Spring/Spring Boot)
- 2–3 years Python (backend/data)
- Strong Kafka and event-driven architecture experience
- Reactive programming (WebFlux or similar)
- Flink or similar stream processing tools
- Redis, MongoDB, Oracle experience
- Strong REST API development
- Familiarity with Dialogflow CX or similar
- Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks
- Banking/fintech experience
- Kubernetes, OpenShift, or cloud-native exposure
- ML fundamentals and model monitoring
