Mainz Brady Group is currently recruiting for an OCI Engineer for a remote contract. Contractor will manage and secure Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, ensuring reliable, compliant, and scalable operations. Support multi-cloud networking, infrastructure-as-code, automation, monitoring, and threat response.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments including compute, networking (VCNs, subnets, gateways), storage, and load balancers.
- Architect secure multi-cloud connectivity (OCI + AWS), including traffic control, firewall/NAT gateways, and transit routing.
- Implement and manage OCI IAM (policies, compartments, dynamic groups, federation) with least-privilege enforcement.
- Harden cloud environments using CIS Benchmarks and security best practices.
- Manage patching, vulnerability remediation, and security incident response.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code pipelines using Terraform, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Automate configuration and patch management with Ansible Automation Platform.
- Configure monitoring and alerting (Datadog, OCI Metrics, PagerDuty) with SLO/SLA tracking.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and audit/compliance requirements (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA).
- 5+ years in cybersecurity/cloud engineering; 3+ years hands-on OCI experience.
- Strong OCI networking, IAM, and security services (Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, Logging).
- Experience with Terraform and configuration management (Ansible).
- Familiarity with security tools (CrowdStrike, Tenable, Teleport, SIEM platforms).
- Scripting skills (Bash, Python).
- Experience supporting production-grade cloud workloads.
- OCI certification (Architect or Security Professional).
- SIEM integrations (Splunk, QRadar).
- Hybrid/cloud networking and AWS experience.
- Experience with Datadog, Cribl Stream, and DevSecOps CI/CD practices.
